IN RESIDENCE

 

La Galleria Franco Noero ha deciso di mettere a disposizione per un periodo da 6 a 12 mesi alcuni degli spazi della propria sede a realtà indipendenti e spazi no-profit del panorama italiano e internazionale, invitati a proporre un programma completamente autonomo da quello della galleria, con l’intento di generare vere e proprie contaminazioni di linguaggi e sperimentazioni contemporanei.
Per il primo anno, dal novembre 2013 a febbraio 2015, lo spazio è stato messo a disposizione dell’organizzazione no-profit Cripta 747, fondata nel 2008 da Renato Leotta, Alex Tripodi e Elisa Troiano. Il programma di Cripta747 nella sua nuova sede si è sviluppato nel corso di una stagione definendo un percorso dedicato all’osservazione del paesaggio e al Mediterraneo, mantenendo un’attenzione sulle ricerche artistiche emergenti italiane. Per il secondo anno, dal 21 marzo 2015 al 21 marzo 2016, lo spazio ospiterà un progetto di Sam Falls incentrato sulle ‘Le quattro stagioni’ di Antonio Vivaldi.
