Galleria Franco Noero is pleased to present Jeff Burton’s solo exhibition. For his third solo show in Turin Burton is suggesting the cinematic experience, transforming the Gallery space into a dark viewing room with a selection of moving images that play on the edge between fantasy and reality.

Viewers are welcomed in the space by the glittering blue drapery of Untitled #215 (Hearse Curtains), a photograph that suggests the trespassing into another realm. One then enters the theatre space in which Burton’s saturated images dissolve referencing the world of Hollywood, cinema, and it’s dreams. While depicting the materiality of film, Burton’s images only hint at the narrative unfolding leaving viewers to contemplate the subjectivity of fantasy versus reality.
