Casa Flash Art is located between Ostuni and the sea, surrounded by the ancient olive trees of the Itria Valley. It is a new workshop space for contemporary art with a residence for artists.

The inaugural exhibition is “No Doubt” by Erick N. Mack, curated by Gea Politi.

Mack's work is sculptural and, at the same time, ethereal, ranging from sculpture to installation, wall pieces, and work on paper. His aesthetic involves a particular tactility and the use of everyday objects, mainly related to clothing. Ready-made elements such as garments, blankets, perforated panels, magazine pages, and eyelets are recomposed and transmuted through the use of acrylic paint, glitter, stitching, and dye. Mack's visual language speaks through these materials, as well as through color and texture, optics and movement. Her works flow and shift, animated by a spectrum of hues, irregular shapes, and poetic drama. References to the fashion industry and the figure lend a seductive quality, connecting to identity or a material fiction of desire and intention.

The title of the exhibition is literally dedicated to No Doubt, the cult band of the 1990s led by Gwen Stefani, a style icon of the time with her countless cargo pants and micro-tops, whose patterns and colors seem to have entered Mack's works for this exhibition.
