This publication accompanies Henrik Håkansson's first solo exhibition at The Breeder.
One of the works presented during the exhibition is based on a flight session with four Myotis natterei bats that takes place in Batlab at the Tübingen Department of Animal Physiology.
The work asserts itself as a document of time and space, represented in the audiovisual content of flight models and echolocation signals emitted by bats. The films are obtained from 3 B / W CCTV cameras connected to a custom developed IR strobe light system and ultrasonic detectors and then slowed down with the idea of extending the vision of this moment, which took place on the morning of June 26. 2002.

The work was carried out in collaboration with Andrea Schaub and Ingrid Kaipf under the supervision of Dr. Björn M, Siemers and Professor Dr. Hans –Ulrich Schnitzler of the Tierphysiologie department at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
