Costa Vece (Herisau, 1969), lives and works in Zurich.
Typical of Costa Vece’s practice is to let actions tied to his personal experience be reflected in a much wider overview of social experience, this attitude translated later in installations and objects that activate a mutual relationship between them, their surrounding space and the viewer.
His work has been shown in solo exhibition in international public and private Institutions, including: Kunstraum Kreuzlingen, Kreuzlingen, Switzerland (2012); Fondazione Merz, Turin, Italy (2009); Kunstmuseum Solothurn, Solothurn, Switzerland (2006); Pérez Centre d’Art, Santa Monica, Barcelona, Spain (2004); Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zurich, Switzerland (2001; 2015); Radio Athènes, Athens, Greece (2015); 1857, Oslo, Norway (2012); MoMA PS1, New York, USA (2012).
