L'Atteso, Mike Nelson's first solo exhibition in an Italian institution, transforms the OGR-Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin into an "other place" thanks to a large-scale installation that has occupied the entire nave of Track 1 with a powerful intervention. The volume is not only a guide to reading the exhibition of the same name, but works as a testimony and study material on the artist since in a game of references with the themes of the exhibition itself - memory and legacies -, it constitutes a second stage further visit to the installation, an immersive experience in itself. Designed as a notebook, the catalog of Mike Nelson's L'Atteso exhibition provides a series of heterogeneous materials, suggestions to the reader, and references for the possible activation of readings of the environmental installation created by the English artist in the spaces of the OGRs. The documentation of the various exhibition phases is combined with a rich selection of texts, which are possible interpretations of the work: ranging from science fiction to the writings of various artists, the agglomeration of texts and iconographic references accumulates, imitating the stratifications of meaning and materials that characterize Nelson's work.

The book is part of the OGR editorial series, edited and managed by Corraini Edizioni, and takes up a key theme of the institution itself, that of movement, in particular in the sense of progression and forward projection. In fact, each of the books produced since 2018 is not exclusively a catalog that summarizes the texts and images of the exhibition.
